It was published in Grassroots News (link not available). A number of people in the Métiscommunity felt that that article did not tell enough about Rooster Town residents' sense of community and pride.
In July, 2017 a group of people established a blockade against development near the former Rooster Town site(s) at what is referred to by some as the Parker Wetlands. This page provided updates and information from their perspective. Last updated in 2020.
